I’ve just realised it’s been over a year since my last blog post! Maybe I should post updates more often 😉

Since that last post I’ve brewed 14 batches of beer and a batch of cider! I entered beers into the Welsh & UK National Homebrew competitions and one of the beers scored pretty well – I scored a 41 for my Nelson Sauvin American Pale Ale. A Vienna Kolsch I entered into the Smashoff 2019 competition placed 4th in my group and 5th overall.

What’s next?

I’ve just bought myself a 50l BrewDevil system from Angel Homebrew. I’m planning on christening the system with a clone of Brewdog’s Elvis Juice Grapefruit IPA. I’ve got all the ingredients ready, I just need to find the time to clean the equipment, test the immersion chiller and get brewing!
